Terms & conditions

Who we are

This website is run by Eight Hand's Work, a furniture and interior workshop in Narayanganj, Bangladesh (showroom: H# DNCC-72, Rd# Bata goli, Shahjadpur(30 acre), Gulshan, Dhaka 1212). By placing an order you agree to these terms, our refund & return policy and our privacy policy.

Our furniture

Our pieces are handmade from solid and natural wood. Grain, colour and knots differ from piece to piece, so the furniture you receive can look slightly different from the photos — that is the nature of real wood, not a defect.

Pieces made to your own size, design or finish are quoted separately; the quote we agree with you sets their price, timing and details.

Prices

Prices are in Bangladeshi taka (৳) and include the piece as shown. Delivery is free when you order 3 or more items; for smaller orders our team tells you the delivery charge by phone before anything is sent. If a price on the site is clearly wrong, we will call you before going ahead.

Placing an order

After you place an order, our team calls you to confirm it and agree a delivery date. We may cancel an order if a piece turns out to be unavailable or we can’t reach you to confirm it; anything you have paid is then refunded in full.

Payment

You can pay cash on delivery, by bank transfer (your order starts once the transfer arrives), or by card and mobile banking (bKash, Nagad, Rocket) on SSLCommerz’s secure payment page.

An online payment order holds its pieces for you for 20 minutes. If the payment doesn’t arrive in that time the pieces are released; if your payment still arrives and the piece has sold meanwhile, we refund it in full.

Delivery

Our own team delivers to your door in Dhaka, Narayanganj, Gazipur, Chattogram and to other districts across Bangladesh. Please check the pieces when they arrive and tell the delivery team, or call us, about anything wrong.

Returns and refunds

You can return a piece within 14 days of delivery. Our refund & return policy explains how returns, damaged items and refunds work.

Your account and reviews

Keep your password to yourself; you are responsible for orders placed from your account. Reviews are checked before they appear, and we may decline ones that are abusive or not about the product.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order applies to that order. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
